Buying Jackets: a short guide

Jackets are the outer layer of the catalog. Depending on the design you may see bomber jackets, lightweight windbreakers, baseball-style jackets with snaps or zip-up shells. Many of them carry an all-over print, which means the artwork is applied to the fabric before the jacket is cut and sewn, so the pattern runs across seams and sleeves.

Every jacket is produced for your order rather than pulled from stock, and its personal delivery estimate sits under Shipping Time on its page. Linings, closures and fabric weight differ from one style to the next, so the listing description is the place to confirm what you are getting.

Outerwear charts are different from shirt charts. Jackets are meant to fit over a layer, and all-over printed styles follow the measurements of the specific pattern. Look up the exact jacket type on our size chart and compare chest and length with a jacket that already fits you well.

Most of these pieces should be washed cold on a gentle cycle and hung to dry. Heat from a dryer or iron can soften the shape and fade the print faster.

If a jacket reaches you damaged, with a printing error or different from your order, write to us within 30 days of delivery. Photos plus the order number let us replace the jacket or pay you back; read the Return & Refunds Policy for specifics.
