Buying Hats: a short guide
Pick the silhouette first. Trucker caps have a mesh back that breathes on hot days. Dad hats are soft, unstructured and curved at the brim. Snapbacks keep a tall, structured crown and a flat or slightly curved bill. Beanies fold at the cuff and cover your ears when it gets cold. Each listing names the style so you know which shape you are buying.

Adjustable straps and snaps make most caps a comfortable fit for adults. If you have a smaller or larger head than average, loop a flexible tape around your head where the hat band would sit and compare the number with the headwear section of our size chart.
To keep a cap looking sharp, brush off dust and spot clean with cool water. Do not put structured caps in the dryer.
